First of all
• Launch
Rapidweaver and enable the link to RWmultitool.
This option is available in RapidWeaver 3.6.X only, not for 4.x
Open RapidWeaver Preferences/Advanced and ensured "Watch theme for modification" is
activated (see picture below).
• Open your project and choose a theme.
Open your project in RapidWeaver with your favorite theme
• Choose customized options for your theme
Select the options with the images you want to edit using RWmultitool
• Go to Preview
Choose Preview or Option+r
• Launch RWmultitool
Three simple steps

• In RWmultitool choose the same theme you chose in
RapidWeaver
If you want to edit an original theme by RelMacSoftware, you need to copy the theme first, so that you can find it in Library/ApplicationSupport/Rapidweaver/ ready for use.
Note: If you cant see any theme installed in the theme menu, enable "view all themes" check. Same behavior for the Lite version of RWmt.
• Choose the image of a theme you want to edit from the list
• Image Drag and Drop in RWmultitool
Open the folder containing your images and insert them using RWmultitool.
You can Drag and Drop many images at the same time into the window containing the theme you want to edit.
Depending on the default settings of the programmes, the images will appear in the centre or at the origin of the theme.

Now you have two options: Edit the theme image and/or edit the added image.
• Edit the theme image
The editable copy is available
as a clone over the current theme image, If
you want to modify your background image than
you need to select it with your mouse. then
you will have one new clone just thanks to
“duplicate” key. From now on the background
image will be part of your project.
You may edit the theme
image, you will find the editabile version over the
background
• Edit the added image
You can now move, rotate, minimize the image. Or change image colour, contrast, transparency, shadowing and the order of image overlapping.
If your image is the same size as the theme image, then it will automatically centre with the snap origins. All controls are user-friendly, with real-time changes to the images!

• LIVE Isight
By using “live” option you will get a new live level that you will be able to move and rotate like any other image. If you than select again the “live” key ,than rwmultitool will add the chosen image to your project. Now you can change your image again and you can even change the contrast and the colours (shades and frame as well).

icon
ON iSight icon
• Save your customized image
Now, save the customized image in the theme folder or on the disk.
Hard-disk saving: you can store a virtually unlimited number of versions of your project to be used in the future.
Theme-folder saving: every time an image is saved into the theme folder, a back-up is automatically created by the programme so that it is always easy to restore the original image.
After saving, RapidWeraver automatically updates the current theme in preview, showing the changes. If theme update does not show automatically, refresh RapidWeaver image preview manually (repeat command+r two times).

•
Project management
• Original theme project.
If your theme is on , then Rwmt will open the project.
All levels will be available. Even if your theme has been afterwards changed, Rwmt will just place the levels over your original image. Anyway the original theme image is protected both in file (inside the theme itself) “original images” , than in its original position (editable-images folder).
Thanks to “Back to Original” key, all levels will be deleted and the original image will be reset.
Different theme project.
If you lose your reference theme after creating a new project, then Rwmt will automatically ask for theme and image you need to set the levels on.
Now you can set levels on the theme and theme image you’ve chosen.
Rwmt will insert different levels and the insertion point will be the one you will find in “snap insert” panel. “Centre” is default’s insert point.
You can edit and save your project after you have loaded all levels inside the new theme.
Edited different theme project (you have already edited one image with Rwmt).
If the new theme image (that gets the level project) has been previously edited, than Rwmt will just lay new project on it. In short Rwmt just ignores changes you have done about final theme. You can anyway use “back to original” to reset the original theme. In this way all project’s level will be deleted.
You can also find all these option inside the top
menu
• Import and Open Project:
Rwmultitool can open one project by using the “open
project” key ( just in case there is any project on
and rwmultitool has been only just start up ).
Moreover you can open the project just selecting
two time the icon and rwmultitool will open
automatically.
Rwmultitool can import one project inside another
active project by “import project” key. Furthermore
you can make the “drag and drop” of your project in
an easy and fast way.
Thanks to “Extrat Originals to Disk” you can save to disk the original images package that you have added to project. This is an extra function (you don’t need to use it in usual Rwmt job) and it gives you the opportunity to have your images back up always available. You can find it in the upper menu. Note: By using “Extract original to disk” key you can extract the LIVE images contained inside the project.
